WORD OF INSTRUCTION
The Hidden (things)
"My Spirit will not contend with man forever, for he is mortal ;"(1)  "there is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed,
or hidden that will not be made known."
(2)  and "nothing in all creation is hidden from God's sight. Everything is
uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of Him to whom we must give account."
(3)   Scripture speaks about the secret
wisdom, hidden things and mysteries of God, yet it also speaks of man's attempts to conceal, cloak and veil his own
sin(s) and to hide the things of his unrighteousness, not only from God's sight but from the view and inspection of his
fellowman.  It appears the time of the "King (who) has on no clothes" is about to end ... as meltdown of the apparent
'situational righteousness' reflected in our political system, and other traditional institutions, comes under public
inspection.  "The sins of some men are obvious, reaching the place of judgment ahead of them; the sins of others trail
behind them. In the same way, good deeds are obvious, and even those that are not cannot be hidden."
(4)   When
manifest unrighteousness reaches the highest levels of society's cultural, political and/or religious institutions, God
usually makes His intervention widely known and pronounced. The situational morality and legal relativism being
flaunted in the Western world today has been there for the past half-century or more, yet the brazenness and
outworking of the spirit of lascivious and forswear has reached new heights. The Eastern world, however, seems to
ostensibly disregard certain slights of character and tends to blatantly violate the human dignity of many human subjects
... counting an individual's worth of apparent lesser value in the conquest for territorial domination or preservation of
political and economic strongholds.  "Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows."
(5)   The
time for God's reaping is nigh at hand and it is incumbent upon the body-of-Christ to unswervingly maintain its focus on
"pressing toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus."
(6)   The spirits of religious
entertainment, facile prosperity, formula-based righteousness, and empire building v. Kingdom establishment are running
rampant throughout many an assembly wreaking havoc on individual believers as well as some corporate bodies.
Pedophilia being uncovered in the highest realms of the Catholic Church serve as a witness that even the Priesthood is
subject and vulnerable to great Sin.
"But you, O Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger (long suffering), abounding in love and
faithfulness."
(7)   Can we ever be thankful enough for God's compassion, grace, long suffering, and abounding love and
faithfulness?  How seldom we now seem to hear "And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of
sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel"
(8)  from the Sunday morning pulpit, on 'Christian' television
broadcasts or read same in the more popular 'self-perfecting' and 'spiritual-actualization' publications lining the shelves of
many Christian book stores. The things man used to 'hide' and 'cover-over' are now encouraged to come out of the
'enclosure' and make themselves known.  We seem to tolerate that which we used to shun and shun that which we used
to hold as absolutes.  We seem to never tire of 'picking the spiritual lint out of our religious navels' while the
body-of-Christ continues to remain divided and sorely separated from the "unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the
Son of God ... attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ."
(9)   Many are asking today where are we in the
prophetic biblical time table?  The 'hidden things of God' being revealed through the establishment of Israel (c.1948),
return of the Diaspora, fulfilling of scriptural prophecies through various current events, preparation of the 'bride of the
Lamb',
(10)  and the great final ingathering of souls into the Kingdom should signal all believers that it is nigh time we set
all our house (individual and corporate) in order before the Lord ... "if we judged ourselves, we would not come under
judgment".
(11)  We pray Lord for the strength to draw all of our hidden things out from among the shadows and into the
light of Your cleansing gaze, to intercede for the hidden things in the lives of others and to fully believe You "will keep
us
strong to the end, so that
we will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ."(12) ... for it is surely the day and time
to no longer have any hidden things from The Lord, corporately or individually! Amen
