'Into Thine hand O Lord I commit my life'
"Let Your hand become my help, for I have chosen Your precepts" (Ps. 119:173-Nkjv).  Is it not time that we
expectantly invite the Lord to place His hand into the glove of our faith?   Further, to allow the power of His
Spirit to move the mountain(s) that obstruct and hinder the pathway leading to the full release of His anointing
into our lives and calling?  Not only must we seek His face, kingdom and righteousness.  We must at times
earnestly seek the power of His hand to remove strongholds, unbelief, idols, iniquities and corrupt ideas
(thoughts) which directly interfere with His great willingness to appropriate (His) grace into our fellowship
with Him.  Until we are willing to allow Our Lord, by His hand, to '.. purge away our dross and remove all our
(Isa. 1:25-Niv)  the fullness of His grace and provision for our life cannot be completely realized.
At times we reach a plateau in our fellowship and walk with the Lord, and seem to remain there for more than
a 'season'
(see Eccl. 3:1).   When this happens we must eagerly search for those objects (e.g., self-serving
attitudes, doubts, offendedness, rebelliousness, pridefulness, unforgiveness, etc.) which still must be placed on
the altar of 'all consuming fire' so the dross is purged and our hearts are purified.  Do not wait for a spiritual
nudging to quicken your heart to commit your total existence into the hand of the Lord, for He is close at hand
... "declares the Lord ... can anyone hide in secret places so that I cannot see him? ..."
(Jer. 23:23-24).  This truly
is a time to be 'manicuring our lamp wicks' and seeing to it that our cruse of oil is brimming ... let us not be
caught like the foolish virgins who were unprepared for the coming of the bridegroom
(see Matt. 25:1-13).  God is
patient, loving and long-suffering in His willingness to bring us into the fullness of His Son's likeness - the
Father's plan for us is "Christlikeness"
(see Rom. 8:29-30, II Cor. 3:18).
Various segments of the religious community are clamoring for a 'great end time revival', yet they seldom
address the coming of the 'great falling away' prophesied in scripture
(see 1 Tim. 4:1, 2 Thes. 2:3).  Compromise
not the truth evidenced in the written word of God especially when tempted or challenged by contemporary
'religious' movements which ostensibly represent the wisdom of men.  In these end-times, if one should believe
he is so 'spiritual' that he can not be tempted or have snares laid along his pathway, then he probably is already
entrapped!  Itching ears
(2 Tim. 4:3)  are beginning to hanker as many men present "popularized" sermons, others
defer proclaiming the written word of God in order to entertain various types of 'spiritual manifestation', while
yet others contemplate a new concept of 'unity', e.g., ecumenical faith blending -vs.- "...
all reach unity in the
and in the knowledge of the Son of God ..." (see Eph. 4:13 - underlining added).  An ecumenical blending of
religious 'faiths' is a direct assault on Christ's sovereignty, His finished work at Calvary, and the
unity of Eph.
.  Ecumenism is that which is 'outside' of God's hand ... why?, there is only one pathway to the Father and
that is through Christ Jesus
(Jhn. 14:6). There is no disunity, clamoring nor vacant wisdom (of men) harbored in
the hollow of God's hand.  Trust your Lord for ... "The works of His hands are faithful and just"
(Ps. 111:7).
