REPLACEMENT SECULARISM
The contemporary religious doctrine of Replacement Theology is predicated on the belief the Christian Church
(body-of-Christ) has/will replace Judaism in God's outworking of His endtime Plan.  In short,
Replacement Theology
advances the proposition that postmodern Judaism is "in default" due to their
forfeiture to accept and embrace their
divinely given Messiah. The consequence here implies God is
finished with the Jewish people as a direct result of their
refusal to accept His Son, Christ Jesus, as the long awaited Messiah, this along with their historical
"stiff-necked-ness".[Acts 7:51]   The blessings of Abraham to Israel thus will be transferred to the endtime Christian
Church. Replacement Theology cherry-picks what it wants to receive and denies the "curses" on Israel would accrue to
the Church, as well!   Can't have it both ways, one without the other.
Amen Ministries of Austin does not subscribe to and/or support Replacement Theology in any of its forms or manufactured
expressions.
Replacement Secularism is a contemporary twist on Replacement Theology, in that it presupposes Christianity
is being replaced by
progressive secular relativism. It would seem there are two parallel, contemporary, quasi-religious
movements operating almost in tandem with one another, one designing itself to replace Judaism and the other Christianity.
Progressive Secular Relativism has as one of its major planks the supposition which states, "there are no absolutes", all
things are relative in time and space and subject to prevailing mores, customs and social-consensus. Thus, God's
absolutes
(Commandments, precepts, and decrees)
are antiquated in their relevance and are an obstruction to man's quest for
existential bliss (
Dominion over the earth, Nirvana, Utopia, the Cosmic Ethereal, etc.). These terms almost seem to run
together, yet they are distinctly different from one another in purpose, belief systems, and strategies for achieving their
desired goals. Secularism certainly is not a new or contemporary model for guiding one down life's highway of choice
points, yet the
progressive secularism of today is taking on an outward anti-Judeo-Christian bent. Renewed interest in
Agnosticism, Atheism, and techno-Gnosticism, along with an emerging
Ecumenism, are all vying for increasing segments
of the expanding secular community.
Scripture employs, in various places, an agrarian model to advance God's outworking of His Plan for redemption
throughout the ages.  Judaism is viewed as
the root, Christ is the vine, and the engrafted Church is the branch growing
out of the vine.  The fruit coming from the
branch is characterized as the workings of the Holy Spirit and His ministry
during the Age of Grace. Replacement Theology advances the premise which states, the
branch (Christianity) is/will
replace the
root (Judaism). The biology does not work here!  Replacement Secularism goes the next crooked step
advancing the premise that states,
secular relativism is purposed to replace Christianity in the near coming days. It is no
wonder terrible judgments will come upon the earth during God's endtime wrath.
Today, we hear more than a few ministries popularizing a psychosocial gospel (self-actualization), a bloodless and sinless
redemption, prosperity now Dominionism, and/or a works-centered doctrine vs. a faith-based belief system to salvation.
These ministries are not blatantly overt in their presentation, but media-savvy, sophisticated entertainment driven
productions, which have membership growth as their number one objective.  Church growth (numbers) and Kingdom
enlargement (conversions) are not always the same process.  Watch and listen carefully to many of the television platform
'Christian' ministries, as well as carefully inspect the proliferation of 'christian' publications inundating the Christian
community, for they are ushering in a fast-track towards 2 Th. 2:3. See
(1)
"Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that
man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition" [2 Th. 2:3]
(that day here refers to "the day of Christ [the Lord]").
Replacement Secularism will come into its own when the Apostasy (falling away) is in its full social dominance.  We are
already witnessing today:
> loss of posting privilege for the Ten Commandments on courthouse walls
> sanctions against bible study in public school settings
> prohibitions against prayer in the public arena using  the Name of Jesus
> outing of amoral and immoral behaviors in several denominations
> increasing secularization of Christmas and Resurrection Sunday (Easter)
> PBS docudramas casting suspicion and doubt on Biblical Truths and God's axioms/maxims
> progressive relaxation of Rights of Ordination and legal definitions of marriage
> increasing News media forays and criticisms, e.g., anti-Semitism and recent undermining of Christian beliefs
(Darwinism vs.Creationism)
> Universal Ecumenism. etc. (See 2, 3) the coming endtime religious collective
All of these examples, to name just a few, are evidencing the unrelenting attacks against orthodox Christianity and gains
being made by
progressive secular relativism, now widely accepted by so many in American society, culture and daily
way of life.
The misguided doctrine of social relativism is the currency and talisman of Replacement Secularism.   All social criteria
must be weighed, given merit and valued through this secular-system on the primary basis of how they
treat the
contemporary common good. Through social consensus management (political), majority rules (law) and historical
relevance, the
absolutes of scripture (God's 'economy') are included or dispensed with according to their value at the time
of codification.  Euthanasia for example (mercy killing of the aged), is it moral/immoral, legal/illegal,
compassionate/expedient?  Secularism terms this topic a 'social conundrum' requiring a higher-court ruling, while scripture
addresses it with
absolute answers.
Emerging agnosticism has been running just below the surface of public social awareness in America for the past fifteen
years. The same strain of religious unbelief has been present in Europe for over twenty years.  At the beginning of the 21st
C., the EU is considered to be no more than twenty-nine percent Christian. The
backsliding into the Apostasy is not just
limited to America. The
spirit of Laodicea [Rev. 3:14-22] is alive and well, increasing in its territorial imperative, seducing
many as the endtimes weigh heavily upon the saved, and unbelievers, alike.
The Religious Right (Christian Conservative) has been accused of being myopic, single issue minded, and  "out-of-touch"
with mainstream America. Now we see looming on the near horizon what is termed the
Religious Left (progressive
evangels
) with its social justice issues, creeping ecumenism, global reclamation, climate change imminence,
works-oriented 'gospel', expanded government entitlement's, and now
Progressive-Socialism to resolve many social ills.
One definition of the endtime apostasia is the attempted depreciation of God's preeminence, prophetically empowered
eschatology, and the inerrancy of His Word. The collective ears of mankind are itching mightily ...
"For the time will
come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a
great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.  They will turn their ears away from the truth and
turn aside to myths."
[2 Tim. 4:3-4]  Progressive Secular Relativism is the world's answer to God's absolutes and the
endtime process of
laicization. The final stage of this grand endtime deception is termed Universal Ecumenism (See 2, 3)
which will come into its fullness during the first half of the Tribulation Period
.  Progressive-Socialism is the beginning!
As Dylan wrote in 1964, "The Times They Are a-Changin". Brining that epithet forward to today, it should read, 'The
Times They Have Markedly Changed'.  Even so, many refuse to recognize just how far down the slippery slope of
unfolding-time we have advanced. If you find yourself caught-up in any of the progressive-secular-relativistic
quasi-religious movements, get out NOW. We are living in a time compression of the suddenlies.
"For you yourselves
know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. For when they say, "Peace and safety" then
sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape. But you,
brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief."
[1 Th. 5:2-4]
Not only will The Lord come, in the day of the Lord, as a thief in the night time, He will also come for His bride-in-waiting
(faithful Church)
in the twinkling of an eye (millisecond), without prior notification ... how you are when He comes (saved
or unsaved) is how you will be at His
Appearing (catching away) and later His 2nd Advent. There will be no second
twinkle
allowing one to change their secular-state, to disciple in-Him.  Progressive secular relativism is not of Christ, and it
will, if allowed, attempt to steal not only your Joy but also your Hope In Him. As they say in the secular world,
it isn't over
until the fat lady sings
(viz. Theater) ... and she is now loudly practicing her vocal scales.  Do not be caught unawares,
you have the opportunity at this moment to commit to Christ, if you have not done so already.  And, if you have, lead
someone into His Kingdom on earth before the sun sets on this day.  Those advancing the popular
Progressive Social
Political
agenda, in America today, are literally flirting with the coming Apostasia.
